Isotroin 20 includes isotretinoin, a medication of the Retinoids class. It is used to treat severe acne in adults and children over the age of 12 (such as nodular acne, conglobate acne, and acne at risk of permanent scarring) that has not improved despite previous anti-acne therapies. Acne is an inflammatory skin ailment characterised by spots, greasy skin, nodular lesions, and other uncomfortable symptoms on the face, back, and chest.
During your treatment with Isotroin 20mg capsule, your doctor may do blood tests and pregnancy tests, and you will be closely monitored by a skin doctor. You will be recommended to limit your physical activity and exercise.
Avoid excessive sun exposure and the use of a sunlamp or sunbed. Alcohol should be avoided when using Isotroin 20mg capsule since it may produce negative effects. Do not give blood while using Isotroin 10mg capsule or for at least one month after quitting it.
