- Ventolin HFA (albuterol sulfate) is a fast-acting bronchodilator used to relieve and prevent bronchospasm in asthma and COPD. Each inhalation delivers 90 mcg of albuterol, providing relief within minutes and lasting up to 4–6 hours.
